| To address augmenting needs of remote (offshore) deployments and configurations, F3 Technologies has announced the formation of separate Technical Support Services department. This decision has been taken after analysing the aspect that production teams spend considerable time of the project on support issues. Therefore it has been decided that a dedicated Technical Support Services department would be formed. This department would draw staff from the existing production teams for a duration of one quarter on rotation basis so that each member can gain experience while new department benefiting from his domain knowledge.
The responsibilities of this department would include:
- Dealing with all support issues
- Demos and associated work
- Remote Installations and deployments
- Assistance of teams in deploying QA versions and support QA with issues so that production teams time is saved
- Monitoring of all live applications & servers
- Build Management
All work of this department will be quantified via a ticking system to ensure it is suitably utilised and staffed. The exiting network team will be merged into this department for seamless service coordination.
